The duration of the painting portion of the show depends largely on the size and detail of the painting. The most common live paintings are executed on a 30x40 inch canvas and can take between 20min to 45min. Full color painting are also an option for events that allow for a longer painting time.

The paintings are always for sale. It depends on whether or not it is pre-negotioated as part of the show. Sergio performs many different types of venues and events. For private, corporate, and wedding events, the painting is typically custom to the theme of the clients event and is included in the price. If a guest is interested in Sergio recreating the piece that has already been sold/included with the event, such as with charity events, it is absolutley possible to make that happen. The most common size tht has been sold and/or ordered is a 30x40 inch canvas. This is an ideal size since its big enough so that guests experience the "wow" factor. Smaller Canvases don't typically have the some reaction as with the 30x40 inch paintings. Sergio paints no smaller than a 16x20 inch canvas and can paint up to a 48x60 inch canvas. No murals.

Sergio has painted almost every subject: still life, portraits, comic book, sea scapes, landscapes, pets, cars, nudes, conceptual, sports, holiday themes, etc. However, with live paintings that are executed in front of audiences/guests, the best subjects are typically Rock Stars/celebs/sports figures; Household names, if you will. The less "who is that?" we get from the crowd, the better. This is also why I tend to decline most landscape/seascape live paintings because it doesn't make sense to the audience right away. Too many questions like, "Where is that? What beach is that? What mountains are those?" etc, tend to bring the energy down.
